HYLTON REGATTA JOB POSITIONS

HELPER – FRIDAY SET-UP
HELPER – SATURDAY SET-UP

FOOD TABLE MONITOR


HELPER – FRIDAY SET-UP

Location and time: Oxford Boat House, 5:30 p.m., for about 2 hours until done.

Duties: You will help carry tables and the tent and any other needed equipment from the storage area down to the dock and launch. You will ride over to the Point in the launch where you will help carry tables and the tent and equipment to the Hylton area.

Instructions: Report to Oxford House at 5:30 p.m.

Dress: Anticipate inclement weather and wear layered clothing.

HELPER – SATURDAY SET-UP

Location and time: The Point at Sandy Run, 6:00 a.m., for about 2 hours until done.

Duties: Include moving more supplies from Oxford House to The Point, setting up the tent and banners, setting up tables for food, carrying food from launches to the food tables, and other duties as needed.

Instructions: You be given specific reporting location the week of the regatta. You may be asked to report to either Oxford House or The Point.

Dress: Anticipate inclement weather and wear layered clothing.

HELPER – SATURDAY TAKE-DOWN

Location and time: The Point at Sandy Run, end of regatta, for about 2 hours until done.

Duties: Include taking down the tent and tables, carrying all Hylton equipment to the launches and dock, riding to Oxford House in the launches where you'll help move everything back to the storage area, and other duties as needed.

Instructions: Be available at the Point at the end of the regatta.

Dress: Anticipate inclement weather and wear layered clothing.

FOOD TABLE ORGANIZER

Location and time: Oxford House and the Point, Saturday, earliest race report time.

Duties: Buy ice for water jugs and bring to Oxford House. Fill jugs with water. Collect food from rowers as they arrive. Supervise getting food and drinks loaded in launches to be ferried to The Point, then get it organized on the food tables at the Hylton tent. Set-up helpers will help move stuff from the launches to the tent

Instructions: You be given specific reporting location the week of the regatta. You may be asked to report to either Oxford House or The Point.

Dress: Anticipate inclement weather and wear layered clothing.

FOOD TABLE MONITOR

Location and time: The Point at Sandy Run, Saturday, shifts vary.

Duties: Keep an eye on the food table and set out more food and drinks as needed. Make sure area is kept neat and clean.

Instructions: Report to the Hylton tent at The Point at your scheduled time.

Dress: Anticipate inclement weather and wear layered clothing.
