Fall Crew is a program in which students from five local high schools participate.
It is very similar to a ÒcampÓ.
The Fall program is sponsored by the Prince William Crew Association (PWCA) of which Hylton and the four other schools (Garfield, Woodbridge, Potomac, Forest Park) are members.
ItÕs a great opportunity for students to see if crew is right for them. Practices are held at the Oxford Boathouse at Lake Ridge Park.
If interested, please complete the registration forms at the links provided. In addition, you will need a high school physical and a swim test Ð forms attached.
Registration ends September 17, 2010.
The Novice Program begins September 27, 2010 and runs through October 29, 2010, with a mini regatta on the 29th.
The cost is $185.00 (check made payable to Hylton Crew Booster Club).
The Experienced Program begins on September 20, 2010 and ends on November 7, 2010. Regattas are scheduled for October 3, October 17 and the Head of the Occoquan Regatta on November 6 & 7.
The cost is $245.00 (check made payable to Hylton Crew Booster Club).

If you stopped by the Hylton Crew table during orientation today thank you very much. Our intent was to let you know the sport of crew is alive and well at C.D. Hylton High School. The boat outside the school today is available for you to ride in. Stop by on Thursday, September 16, 7:30 p.m. in the enclosed cafeteria at school to learn more about the fantastic sport of crew.

Hylton Crew was awarded the trophy for best Youth Club Float!
Wow, not necessarily the outcome we were looking for but look at the result of a true group effort! I truly feel this is the beginning to something great. I reach out to each and everyone of you to get involved to help make a difference. With everyone's help each of our events will be just as spectacular. Thank you for taking an interest in our youth — they are worth it.
Thank you again to all those who prepared, decorated, participated and cleaned up, from beginning to end, to make this event a true success.
